Energy Security

What we face: Continued dependence on oil from countries hostile to both the United States and Israel holds American policy hostage and threatens our national and economic security.

What we do: AJC began advocating for a reduction in U.S. dependence on foreign oil in the 1970s. We continue to actively support legislation for diversifying fuel options, adopting more stringent fuel economy standards, increasing investment in public transportation, and expanding exploration and development of domestic resources.

In Dallas, we work with our government leaders to ensure support for smart energy legislation. AJC Dallas also organizes panel discussions with local energy experts in order to educate the community about this issue.
